Tom Fristoe

Tom is the Founder & GM of TeamUnify. He grew up in Minnesota and found swimming as a junior in high school and quickly fell in love with the sport. After his family moved to Northern California, where Tom graduated from high school, he attended Santa Rosa Junior College and excelled in swimming. He soon was offered a scholarship to attend Long Beach State University to swim for Jon Urbanchek. Tom went on to become a nationally ranked Imer and breaststroker and qualified to swim at the 1984 Olympic trials in three separate events. Following the Olympic trials, Tom moved back to northern California where he began his now multi-decade career in the technology sector. In 1988, he met his wife Donna and have three daughters. Tom found the need for TeamUnify by volunteering his time as board president for a masters swim team and is very proud to be part of helping the sport of swimming flourish. When not working Tom loves to travel with his family, photography, windsurfing, and open water marathoning.
