We recently conducted a parent survey. One question we asked was which Social Media outlets families use to get team news and updates. The vast majority of our team uses some form of social media and those individuals don't rely on the website.

Our friends over at USA Swimming are excited to announce the fourth annual #SwimBiz: Social Media, Sponsorship and Swimming marketing conference, set to take place April 8-10 in Colorado Springs, Colo. #SwimBiz features insights from prominent brands on building memorable stand-out social media and marketing strategies for their teams, while emphasizing advertising, branding, communications, sponsorship and local promotions.

Great news for all those teams using the top times reports. There are two new features that will help you organize top times. First, you can now select and view results by multiple meet types and second, you can now simplify your top times reports by combining and converting course lengths into one report.

Last week, the four USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon Gold Medal Clubs were announced and now it's time to announce the winner of the USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon Contest! Over 550 teams hosted a USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon in 2017, raising almost $7 million in fundraising dollars.

It's that day your swimmer has been training for all year and dreaming about all week. The horn blows, the race begins, and Johnny is off to the races. It's the 400 free! He touches the wall and looks back at his time, he swam a 4:43.53. He jumps out and asks you, "What are my splits?"

Unless you have an expensive stopwatch you won't know until results are posted. BUT, did you know that OnDeck, the mobile application you already use to access your swim team's info, has a way to time races and even post unofficial times the whole team can see? Best of all, it just got a big facelift and we want to show you around.

Another year in the books and we are seeing more and more money raised per fundraiser. In 2017 the average USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon run on the TeamUnify system raised $11,150! What could your club do with an extra 11k?

Because of each team's efforts, in 2017 we reached an all new high total of Swim-A-Thon dollars raised—a staggering $5,537,971! In total, TeamUnify teams have raised over $29,400,000 using the TeamUnify Fundraising Platform since its inception.

OnDeck is an extremely powerful tool for swim team administrators, coaches and parents alike. It gives you complete access to your swim team's information, all on a mobile device. From best times and time standards, to meet declarations and volunteer job sign-ups, this application is a must have in swimming and we want to show you a few tips to make your experience even better.
