When manually building relay teams, you will be excited to find that selecting all four relay legs can now be done from a single screen. After you click Manual Add by a desired relay, click the singular Select button in the Athlete Leg Assignments section. If you need it, we also added a Remove All button so you can submit an entry time without athletes.
Now as you select each swimmer, the leg number will automatically increase for each one until you've selected all four swimmers. Click Assign Athletes to Legs, then Save Changes on the next screen and you're done!
Also, when jumping relay to relay, we now save your filters. This is based on a session by session setting, meaning that these filters will save until you log out of SwimOffice.
On the Relay Teams screen, we removed the Approve Teams button since all relay teams are automatically approved. Also, after you build relay teams using any of the three methods, you can use the new Remove Athletes From Teams button to create empty relay teams with your team’s actual best time. A quick way to build an entry without submitting an athlete line up.
You are going to love how we've streamlined committing athletes by event. Look how much more efficient the process is now. We have changed the filtering system, and now allow you to move from event to event, all from the same screen.
Click the desired event.
This takes you to a screen that combines the filters and athlete selection, with Show only athletes already Entered in this MEET selected by default.
Once you make your selections, either click Save Changes or the new Save Changes and Go To Event X, the latter of which advances to the next event, or lets you change the event number to move to a different event.
We know these are a few simple enhancements that will make big changes in reducing not only the amount of time it takes to do meet entries, but the amount of clicks also. We hope you enjoy the new system.
